Privacy Policy

Payout Proof is a read-only reconciliation tool: it verifies that the Shopify payouts recorded in your accounting system match what Shopify actually processed.

What we access and store

• Shopify: payout batches and payment balance transactions (amounts, fees, dates, order ids and order numbers). We request read-only scopes and never write to your store.
• Accounting ledger (e.g. Xero): transactions of the accounts you nominate (clearing and bank accounts), read-only.
• We do not access or store customer personal data — no names, emails, addresses, or payment card details.

How data is protected

• Access tokens are stored server-side only, encrypted at rest, and are never exposed to the browser.
• All data is isolated per organisation with database row-level security.

Deletion

• Uninstalling the app revokes our access immediately; on Shopify's subsequent erasure request (shop/redact) we delete the store's stored payout data.
• You may request deletion of all your data at any time.
